Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 17 July, 2025
Welcome to Codestro — we’re glad you’re here.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website https://codestro.com and any services we offer. Please take a moment to read them carefully. By using our website or hiring us for a project, you’re agreeing to these terms.
If anything’s unclear or you’d like to discuss further, just email us — we’re human, and we’re here to help.
1. About Us
Codestro is a digital solutions company based in the United States, providing custom web development, mobile application development, UI/UX design, eCommerce solutions, and scalable software systems for businesses across various industries.
We work with startups, enterprises, and everything in between, building digital products designed to perform and scale.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, filling out a contact form, or entering into a project agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree with any part of them, please don’t use our website or services.
3. Project Engagement & Service Agreements
Every client engagement is customized and starts with a detailed proposal, quote, or agreement outlining:
The scope of work
Deliverables and timelines
Payment terms
Intellectual property rights
Support or maintenance (if any)
No work begins without mutual understanding and written approval from both parties.
If you need to change project requirements mid-way (we get it, it happens), we’ll provide a revised estimate or scope for approval.
4. Payments
All payments must be made according to the schedule shared in the project agreement or invoice. We typically follow a milestone-based payment model to ensure transparency and mutual accountability.
Late payments may result in:
Work being temporarily paused
Interest charges on overdue amounts
Withholding of final deliverables
We accept payment via secure channels (bank transfer, credit card, or trusted third-party gateways).
5. Intellectual Property & Ownership
Once full payment is made, all rights to the project deliverables (web/app designs, code, content, etc.) transfer to the client, unless specified otherwise.
We retain the right to showcase the work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
However:
Pre-existing frameworks, tools, or libraries we use remain our property or the property of their respective licensors.
You may not reuse our brand name, website content, or graphics without our written permission.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all client information — from business strategy to design files — as confidential. We will not disclose, reuse, or share your information without explicit permission.
Similarly, we expect clients to treat our methodologies, pricing, and internal processes as confidential.
7. Limitation of Liability
We’re committed to providing high-quality work, but as with any technology service, things can sometimes go wrong. We are not liable for:
Indirect or incidental damages
Loss of business, data, or profits
Third-party software/API failures
Our liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid for the specific service in question.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with reasonable written notice.
If a project is canceled mid-way:
We will invoice for all completed work up to that point.
Any advance payments are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise.
9. Updates to Terms
We may revise these Terms occasionally. The updated version will always be posted here with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use of our services after that means you agree to the changes.
10. Contact Us
We believe in clear communication. For questions or feedback about these Terms:
